So as you know, our Graduation Dinner is coming up! Yes, I said Graduation Dinner! So technically, this is meant for Year 13s only. This is a time to celebrate our two years of continuous hard work and spending time with our peers before we leave for uni. So why are some Year 12s, who are not even dating some of our fellow classmates, going?
We would like to bring to light that a large number of Year 12s are attending our prom, and most of which are not in a relationship with their dates. Bringing in these Year 12s will ruin the atmosphere of graduation dinner for most of the Year 13s who want to use this time to celebrate the end of IB and the amount of work that we have put in throughout the 2 years.
By signing this petition, you are in support of stricter rules being enforced on bringing guests to prom, whereby the only guests that are allowed are those that are genuinely in a relationship with a Year 13 attending prom.

I have been hearing from so many people who feel exactly the same way about wanting our final dinner to be a space for us. It is exhausting trying to convince others that this night belongs to our class alone after the two years of stress we have shared.

Seeing this level of backing from my own grade confirms that we all want the same thing for our final celebration. We put two brutal years of IB behind us and we deserve an event that honors that effort without uninvited guests diluting the moment.

I don't agree with this, just wanted to comment saying that I dislike the exclusion of the BTEC's students hard work out in over these 2 years. Suck My Dick IB.
