This petition is to allow other students as well as those who have already graduated, to be able to attend the Winter Formal dance on January 28th 2020. We believe that this should be allowed because as our grad year, it would be very special to a lot of us to have our significant others attend this dance. This would help us sell more tickets and give everyone the chance to have a date for this special event. The guests would have to agree and abide by all of the rules by signing the Sutherland Code of Conduct.

The feedback from students is pouring in and it is clear that everyone wants this policy changed before the dance. I am currently drafting a formal proposal to the administration regarding the guest code of conduct. Send a text to three friends right now and tell them to sign this if they want to bring a date.

it’s literally our last year why do they have to be so strict about everything?? let us have fun for once
my girl goes to argyle and she needs to be at this dance with me. admin keeps being so annoying about this

This is a common practice at many other schools and should be easy to implement at Sutherland.
