We, the students of TWS Year 11, Class of 2022, are taking a stand to speak out against the situation that has upset us and our peers. We believe it is unfair that our accomplishments go unnoticed. We have been dealing with the pandemic for the past two years; being rooted to our homes for two of the most significant years of our lives and having to return to school and take our board examinations. Many activities and events, such as the carnival, yearly Shakespeare production, sports day and field trips were missed by our grade, as well as extracurricular activities. Many of our classmates will be leaving TWS this year without having formed any lasting memories with us. We all wish to spend one final special day with one other. The Talentastic, which was planned as a replacement of us not having a graduation this year, has also been unfortunately cancelled. Hence, our batch feels that all of the stress and pressure we have undergone this academic year has been overlooked. We feel we deserve a graduation just as the previous batches before us have, as we know our current batch will not remain wholly until Year 13. Many of our parents and guardians also agree that a graduation is the least the school can do for our batch. We hope you will not turn a blind eye to our pleas and take appropriate action.
