The momentum behind this petition proves that Barrie residents are tired of watching the Allandale Station sit neglected while City Council works to bring it back to life. These signatures show that our community wants a real village hub instead of the empty excuses we keep hearing from the project's vocal minority opponents. We are moving forward and the critics who want this site to remain a ghost town are clearly losing their grip.

Been waiting years for someone to do something with that spot. About time.
My kids need a place to go after school. The current options are way to far away.
Anything is better than the empty lot we have now. lets get this moving.
Finally something good for allandale. tired of looking at that old station just sitting there doing nothing.

We just moved here, and look forward to Barrie’s expansion. A YMCA just makes sense.
