Nearly reached 1,000 signatures totally with paper signatures etc. only 80 more to go to reach 1,000 signatures. Yarra’s Edge is one of the many precincts of the Docklands area. The 3007 Postcode is available and Yarra's Edge has a great opportunity to capture it's own identity.

Many of us have experienced difficulty or confusion at times, explaining our unique location, as many associate the Docklands with “The Wheel” or “Marvel Stadium”.

When we vote in State and Federal Elections, we come under a different electorate to Docklands residents on the other side of the river.

After an initial discussion with council to request a name change to “Yarra’s Edge” and also to adopt the 3007 postcode, so we can be recognised and more easily located.

To demonstrate to the City of Melbourne we aim to gather a minimum of 1,000 signatures in support of the change from local business owners, residents and owners.
