All oleds have failed two have shown white line but are Intermittent all are dim and almost unusable with burn in on the screens. Yaesu make this right, we the user expect the best when we spend good money on highend Yaesu products.

OLED displays are becoming very dim. THE VFO B DNR display is almost unreadable.

lost the oled in Sub B vfo on March 23...rig now at Yaesu getting all replaced...rig purchased in 2012, made in 2011...used off and on with other rigs...so was not used all the time...but, guess my turn came around...hopefully new ones are beter, Yaesu Tech. said he had not seen any of the new ones come back in a year and a half...so who knows..

Today, I experienced the failure. I've previously had the rig offline for a couple weeks, as I was on vacation. Came home and turned it on, and BINGO! There it was.

yaesu have problem with a service,
spend 6k for radio, it is too much.
Same situation about yaesu rotators.

I've had the radio for about 4 years and I've been very happy with it, but I don't want to go through this ordeal again. Is there a fix? If not the next radio is a 990 Kenwood.
