Oled failed after warranty expired.
Very frustrating.
No more yaesu products unless they address the issue.

No failure yet but this is a well known problem that should be covered 100 percent for at least five years including shipping both ways. This problem already effects resale value.

I am not an owner of a Yaesu FTDX-5000MP or variants. I was considering buying one until I had
heard of the OLED problem and
will not buy one until Yaesu addresses this problem fully.
Come on Yaesu ,you can do better
on customer service on a expensive radio like this.
