The city finally reversed their decision and Xai Verandah Lounge is staying open. It has been a long and draining struggle but I am grateful that we stayed firm. We still need to keep a close eye on things moving forward.

We, the undersigned Patrons of Xai Verandah Lounge support this venue. Nadia Fakih and her family are excellent proprietors who have demonstrated, through word and deed, their commitment to our community.
We respectfully request that the City Family make every effort to allow Xai Verandah Lounge to operate lawfully without further harassment and discrimination.

The days are long and the strain of this constant push is beginning to show on all of us. I am spending my hours navigating bureaucratic hurdles while trying to keep the doors open and the lights on. We are not backing down because this place is worth the fight.

Ridiculous that they have to deal with this constant harassment. The city needs to get their priorities straight.
Nadia is the best. Always so welcoming to everyone. Leave them alone!!!!
Total garbage treatment of good people. Just let them work!
Love the vibe here. Best spot in the area. Keeping this place open is a must.
I been going to xai for years. Always friendly and safe. Leave them be.
