The aim of this petition is to raise awareness in our government that the current funding for public transport in the West Yorkshire region is not adequate. Our region is the business capital of the north and Leeds is the largest centre for business, economic and financial services outside London. So my question is this: If our funding for public transport is not adequate then our public transport will be unable to support current growth in the region therefore limiting our growth so should our con-lib government support our region with adequate funding?
