Ofcom finally admitted their failure and committed to active enforcement on the amateur bands. This victory belongs to everyone who refused to let them ignore the Wireless Telegraphy Act any longer. Keep your radios on and report any lingering abuse because we are watching to ensure they actually follow through.
We the undersigned petition to get Ofcom to enforce the Wireless Telegraphy Act
The purpose of this Petition is to call on Ofcom to enforce the Wireless Telegraphy Act and stop abuse on the amateur bands, especially repeaters.
Ofcom have a responsibility it is the independent regulator and competition authority for communication and have been undersigned by the Secretary of State to enforce the Wireless Telegraphy Act.
Since, Ofcom took over in December 2003 it appears they have done very little in protecting the amateur bands from abuse.
We need an end to abuse. Please sign our National Petition today it's important to you & your hobby, please inform all your amateur friends about our campaign........
Ofcom has been ignoring their legal obligations for far too long while our airwaves fall into chaos. The momentum behind this movement proves they cannot pretend we do not exist anymore. We are forcing their hand and we are not stopping until they actually do their jobs.

The bands are a mess. Enforcement is needed now before nobody wants to use the repeaters anymore.
