The volume of support has secured a meeting with the local planning department. I am now finalizing the formal letter that outlines our preference for a controlled parking zone over the proposed yellow line restrictions.

I am pleased to report that, at last night's Joint Committee meeting, it was agreed that the proposal for a single yellow line at the Church Hill end of the road would be removed from this year's parking review. Instead, there will be a wider consultation on a proposal for a CPZ in the New Year. This was a direct result of this petition. Thanks to everyone who signed.

I support option A and I am completely against option B. There is absolutely no need to have parking restrictions in Waldens Park Road at all, other then the existing double yellow lines on the bend outside my house. We all have ample off-road parking and on occasions when we have several visitors, unrestricted parking is a benefit. I do not wish to see one of the most attractive roads in Horsell disfigured by signs and yellow lines.

11 WPR (A and B). A yellow line will never be in keeping with other conservation area restrictions that apply to this road.
