We, the undersigned registered voters in the town of Bridgewater, hereby petition the Select Board to place the flowing article on warning for the Annual Town Meeting in March 2016.
Shall the Town of Bridgewater, Vermont appropriate the sum of $3,000 to the Woodstock Recreation Center for waiver of non-resident charge for the Woodstock Recreation Activities for all residents of Bridgewater.
The Select Board is still dragging their feet on this while our families pay for services they should already be able to access. I am tired of the runaround and I am pushing them to explain exactly why Bridgewater residents are being treated like outsiders at the recreation center.

Finally. Its about time we got some use out of our money for the rec center. Tired of paying extra fees just because we live across the town line.

My kids love the pool and it is way too expensive right now. This would help out so many local families. Bridgewater needs to do this.

$3,000 is nothing compared to what we pay in taxes. Let the kids swim.
