Woodruff Farms against A REQUEST BY ENGINEERING DESIGN GROUP TO REZONE CERTAIN PARCELS FROM R-1,
There is a request to rezone the power line property that runs parallel to Woodruff Parkway from R-1 to R-5. Hopefully I've attached a useable link so you can see what is proposed. The part that impacts us has 41 lots, some of which are in our backyards. If you're available, the meeting is at 5;00 pm this Thursday at the Leeds Annex meeting Room at 1412 9th Street. The traffic on Woodruff is already bad enough without adding 40 more houses. We have enough congestion and dont need to make it worse just for a developer to make a buck.
We do not need, nor want, to try to cram more tiny homes in Leeds. We already have severe water run-off issues because of mass clear cutting of land. We need homes where families can see themselves growing. Nobody wants these homes except for the ones who just get rich off of the houses.
Leeds does not need more of this type of housing and the location is unsuited for housing, it will ruin all our drainage and cause water issues for the rest of us
I will not be able to make the meeting and would like to state I am against the proposed rezoning
I live at 844 Wood Trace Circle. This rezoning will be in my back yard and diminish the value of my house, and drainage will run on my property.

Keep it R-1. We dont want the density and our yards already flood every time it rains hard. STOP THE REZONING.
