We, the undersigned, appreciate and commend the Wolfeboro Police Department and all the work that our public servants do to keep Wolfeboro safe and vibrant. Therefore, we believe that our community's limited resources should be directed at drug-related and violent crimes and not towards undocumented individuals who have not committed any crime.
Therefore, we are requesting that Wolfeboro be named a "safe" city and that clear policies be spelled out for any interactions with undocumented individuals and/or potential cooperation with federal agencies as it relates to these individuals.
