I think it's only fair, for contestants who have demonstrated and earned their position at worlds to be able to participate.

I feel that it is really unfair to NY athletes who train intensely all year to be shut out if world due to scheduling that is out if their control and seems to be avoidable.

My son had missed the last two Worlds and also this year's due to Regents. It's frustrating to say the least after working so hard all season knowing they are not going to Worlds.

No date will work for everyone but an East Coast league shouldn’t repeatedly conflict with statewide obligations of athletes on the East Coast. But they also shouldn’t be able to forbid gyms from hosting comps for other leagues.

i have been competing in the sport for 8 years and have taken part in every worlds since season 4. a bunch of my friends also compete and due to the schedule of worlds we are unsure if any of us are going to be able to go despite qualifying well in advance (i took 3rd in premier series). i hope that you hear our concerns and can accommodate the large percentage of the league that would be cut out entirely if the dates remain.

CT has the same issue... A 5th grader shouldn't have to pick between graduation and Worlds!

The current schedule puts kids and parents in a tough spot. Some cannot attend because of testing/end of school. It’s what they work all season for. Worlds can be in April.

WNL has heard, and ignored, the feedback regarding the timing of Worlds for several years now. Continuing to repeat the cycle is disheartening and inequitable to competitors. This timeframe not only conflicts with NY Regents, but also Canadian regions, several Northern school finals, and graduation. I sincerely hope there will be some attention brought to this problem in the near future for all of the ninjas who are not able to participate- including students, teachers and affected family members.
