Considering the 2 reigons in New York are WNL’s biggest, they should think about it. (Also their top 2 moneymakers will not be there at all) Which is hundreds of people that work so hard for this every year. Thanks WNL, I hope you take this into consideration!

My ninja in Central NY has to miss the last week of school. Mon-Wed. He’s still in grade school so it’s ok this year, but soon I can see that it will become a problem.

Over half of 40-50 competitors from Rochester, NY area will be unable to attend due to school conflicts. Compile that with the 150-200 competitors in the upstate region, many of our best will be forced to sit this event out. Hopeful that some contingency can be discussed between the WNL and the NY community.

The WNL has shown complete disregard for athletes in the northeastern US for several years when it comes to scheduling Worlds. I hope that this petition effectively communicates the discontent of impacted families. With no regard from the league, families will go elsewhere.

The WNL has consistently ignored the concerns brought forward by the community when asked for feedback. The largest regions of the league are affected by this schedule but concerns fall on deaf ears year after year, while not providing any level of transparency around the decision to not adjust or attempt to accommodate.

There are a huge number of WNL gyms and athletes. Regents exams are not an option.
