In January this year West Devon Borough Council approved a planning application for a discussed retail site in Tavistock to be reopened as a tesco. There was very little opposition (other than a handful of local retailers who block everything in town) and the town was happy to be getting a new supermarket and 100 jobs. But Cllr Oxborough challenged that decision by joining forces with Morrisons (and wont confirm that they are bankrolling him) and called for a Judicial Review. The Judge threw it out stating there were no grounds. BUT Cllr oxborough can still appeal. WE WANT TO USE THE POWER OF PUBLIC OPINION TO GET HIM TO ACCEPT THE JUDGE'S DECISION, AND NOT APPEAL.
