Bill Gaebler has been a loyal coach and teacher at Berkeley High for 30 years. He is retiring this year, and it seems only fitting that his legacy lives on after he leaves Berkeley High. He is beloved by many, and his dedication to and love for his job and school inspire swimmers and students alike. The pool is currently unnamed, and given Bill's significant role in building and maintaining the pool, and in strengthening both the water polo and swim teams at Berkeley High, there is no better way to honor Bill and the aquatics program than by changing the pool name to the William Gaebler Aquatic Center.
