The news just came in that the decision to close our branch has been reversed. I am truly stunned by the outcome and fully aware that this only happened because you showed up for our community. Please keep watching this space just to ensure everything stays exactly as it should …
Petition Summary: In the latest round of cuts to the Post Office 20% of the high street branches are being closed and the services franchised. One of these has been confirmed in the national press to be Willenhall John Street Post Office.
We the undersigned are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now and put an immediate stop to this as the facilities at this branch cannot simply be replicated in a booth in a shop. Many people in the local area rely on Post Office services and are unable to get to a different town.
I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this because it was never my intention to lead something that resonated with so many people. This belongs to all of you who stepped up to defend our community hub when I felt like we were totally alone. Please know that the credit for this movement belongs entirely to the residents who chose to speak up.

This is rediculous. The town is dying enough as it is without taking away our post office. We need this branch open.
