Over the past couple of years it has come to our attention that this lisd/Wiley Dresscode is ridiculous. It is a horrible rule that limits people (especially girls) from expressing themselves (in a country where freedom of expression is encouraged and VERY legal). Your saying that girls covering up their bodies is more important than giving them a good education. The last time I checked you were trying to support education not limit it, which is exactly what you do every time you pick out a girl from class and embarrass her in front of all her friends is more important then learning? And the punishment? In school suspension? For doing something that is free for everyone to do just because you think that people could maybe, possibly, be a little distracted for one second? Ridiculous. And if I were you I wouldn't want to be part of s group that looks back and says "I controlled someone's life and education because I didn't want them to express themselves. Think about that. It has to change

I am so glad this is out there. I hate my schools dress code. Yesterday i was pulled from class for 30 minutes to get dresscoded for my shorts but a centimeter too short.
I agree we're paying for education that we're not even getting....just because of what we wear....?!
I think it's stupid. I'm really tall and it's hard to find shorts that a cute and long enough. I understand why we have the dress code but I mean really. like lisd has gone alittle far. like dress coding people because a bra strap is visible girl where bras wow who knew. and dress coding people for leggings. but I mean like lisd is pretty much taking time from class to check if they are out of dress code. then sending them to the office for 20 minutes and embarrassing him/her. and this is all to prevent distraction. but you are doing to exact opposite. your distuping class, and her/ him your dress coding for something like a tank top.
Never forget the fingertip shirts with leggings and the leggings under our shorts not allowed.
I think this is ridiculous that you can't wear a bandana as a headband and that a shirt has to cover your butt

I do belive that the Wiley Middle School dress code should be changed because you are right. They are stopping girls from getting good education because of what they are wearing.
