This is a statement merely to say that we in Hunter Court and the Beeches (and Queens Hospital Close) are aware that the University of Birmingham are planning to put WiFi in their halls and hope that as Liberty Living residents current and future are paying premium prices for quality accommodation Liberty Living will follow their example. The provision of WiFi has become a norm, not a luxury, with many universities providing it free of charge. Under the status quo students may only work in their rooms - inhibiting their ability to work in groups - and cannot use internet facilities in social capacities. We know that Liberty Living strive to provide a service on par with (or superior to) university accommodation and as such believe the provision of WiFi free of charge to be necessary and useful both to residents and to Liberty Living.
