Your Excellency,

Dear President Goodluck Jonathan,

Concerned Nigerians are worried why your excellency had to suspend Mr Sanusi Lamido Sanusi? We are worried, especially, as there was no known presidential committee to investigate him for any offence.

Please kindly tell us if there is anything you know that we do not know. This is because, we are beginning to think he was suspended because of his whistleblowing about thealleged $20billion fraud in the NNPC?

Our worries are much more centred on the facts that:

(1) It will be difficult for good people to occupy position of authority in Nigeria, as we remember how Malam Nuhu Ribadu was inhumanly treated byyour immediate past administration, beforehe eventually got justice under your administration. We see this as a wrong signal to younger generation, who are ready to build Nigeria.

(2) $20billion is enough to provide free, qualitative and compulsoryprimary and secondary educationforNigerian children for the next 40years. And we opine, thatyour Excellency should have allowed Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to complete his assignment with regards to this exposure of the alleged fraud.

But, we want to believe that your excellency will explain to us, as we deserve to know as concerned citizens. Peradventure, Mallam Lamido may NOT be whom we think he is, please let us know. Maybe, just maybe he was like one Hon Farouk Lawal!

Thank you sir.

Accept the assurances of our highest esteem

Is this suspension not illegal? Has the presidency power to suspend CBN governor without having taken his case to the national assembly? CBN governorship is not political appointment, so once the nominated person is approved by the national assembly, except he is directly connected to a fraud, presidency has no power over him again. Finally. Why has Mr. president found it easy to suspend SLS, CBN governor and whistle blower and he took him forever before sacking Stalla, former aviation minister? Nigerians need to know the offence of SLS.
