We the people of Sierra Leone are signing this petition to urge
President Ernest Bai Koroma to RESPECT THE SACRED OATH OF HIS OFFICE as guardian
of our constitution by rescinding his unconstitutional sacking of the Vice
President Alhaji Sam Sumana and declare null and void his unconstitutional
appointment of Victor Foh as Vice President of Sierra Leone.
We the
people believe that it is the President's fiduciary duty and responsibility to
take this extraordinary step in order to safeguard the security and stability of our
republic. We do not need a
constitutional crisis at a time when we are battling the deadly Ebola scourge
and the attendant economic woes of the nation.
We the
people wish to inform the President that this is a non-partisan, non-tribal and
non-political issue for us but, solely a matter of protecting and preserving
our sacred constitution, the supreme law of the land.
We the people subscribe to the belief that no one
is above the law and that we must take action now before this breach of our
constitution becomes a pattern that will lead us down that familiar road of
tyrannical rule which usually leads to anarchy in the country.

The volume of support has now reached a scale that demands a formal response from the Presidency. I am currently preparing the physical manifest of this petition to be delivered directly to the State House by the end of the week.

No one is above the law. The president of my beloved country Sierra-leone HE Ernest Bai Koroma has unconstitutionally dismissed his vice president Hon. Sam Sumana from his office and appointed the ambassador to China Victor Foh as Vice president all by himself without the consideration of parliament.
I am signing this petition because I do not support the unconstitutional decision of the president to sack the VP. If we allow this transgression of the constitution it will become a trendsetter for future leaders with dictatorial tendencies to emulate thereby destroying our emerging democracy.
