Parole Board won't release parolees bc they'll have no jobs left-new prisoners are arrested, serve their time and are released while the old law prisoners just rot their lives away:(

My brother is an old law inmate,with more than 35 years gone they tell him what a great job he is doing just be patient and keep making him wait for a couple more years for a new parole board hearing,he is 64 years old and has a bad heart ,he was not given a death sentence just( indeterminate) life.

The Ohio Parole Board concentrates ONLY in excessive punishment, giving inmates the maximum sentences after the minimum sentence imposed by Court has been served. They don’t take into account anything an inmate do to earn parole, such as rehabilitation, programming, —achieve academically, family and community support. Something must be done and soon!

They don’t take into account anything an inmate do to earn parole, such as rehabilitation, programming, —achieve academically, family and community support. Something must be done and soon!

Pretty bad when the person who actually commits the crime gets out and he lied along with hiding the weapon all recorded but the one who did not do is still sitting in prison after 23 years this is insane...yet we the family are harassed by the person who committed the crime he commit served 15 years!!!!

It may not be illegal, but it is certainly immoral and unethical to hold an inmate for an indefinite number of years for those sentenced pre-1996. The Parole Board does NOT consider recommendations from job supervisors, classes taken, and zero or near zero behavioral problems while incarcerated. They want the inmate to live with family. What is he to do if he has outlived most of his family? How do you convince a distant niece or nephew to take someone they have never met into their homes? The entire process is ridiculous.

It may not be illegal, but it is certainly immoral and unethical to hold an inmate for an indefinite number of years for those sentenced pre-1996. The Parole Board does NOT consider recommendations from job supervisors, classes taken, and zero or near zero behavioral problems while incarcerated. They want the inmate to live with family. What is he to do if he has outlived most of his family? How do you convince a distant niece or nephew to take someone they have never met into their homes? The entire process is ridiculous.

IT IS DISCUSTING THE WAY THIS PAROLE BOARD IS ABLE TO DRAG OUR LOVED ONES AND TORTURE THEM WELL AFTER THEY HAVE DONE THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THEIR MISTAKES MOST OLD LAW DOUBLE TIME!!! WHILE NEW LAW INMATES ARE SET FREE YEARS EARLIER ALL BECAUSE OF A DATE!!! WHY ARENT THESE PPL BEING TREATED EQUAL??? WERE IS THEIR HELP??? WE WANT OUR LOVED ONES HOME!!!
