yes my son is a inmate in R C I in CHILLICOTHE OHIO he got 32 years to life he will go to the PAROL BOARD in 30 years he is not guid

If the Ohio Department of Corrections saw a need to change the guidelines for sentencing for prisoners sentenced after 1996 then that reasoning should apply across the board. It is unequal treatment of someone who has received a sentence prior to 1996 for the same crimes to be held to a higher penalty than is currently being applied by the courts. What purpose could it possible serve except to insure the continued employment of the parole board. This selective application of the laws has served to overcrowd the prisons and demoralize those prisoner who have served time only to see someone else with the same crime be released years earlier Do we no longer ascribe to equal and fair application of the law? My brother needs to be home! He is not in good health he has cancer and don't have long to live and if he passes he needs to be with his family
