Everything started after March 12 when Corinavirus, COVID 19, striked the entire tourism world and the worst hit the cruise industry. Crew members around the world are strainded at sea with no option to go home but just the lies of their employer. The cruise lines lied to their crew members that CDC does't allow them to fly and repatriate them. CDC mentioned that the cruise lines are allowed to repatriate crew if they will cover the cost of private transportation. The biggest player in the cruise industry, Carnival Corp, through his CEO Arnold Donald mentioned that way of transportation is too expensive. Once again the industry proves that doesn't care about their team members waiting for the goverments of their citizenship country to try and repatriate them. Carnival Cruise Line announced that on the multiple dates for departure but have been postponed. Some we are not paid for a month now and the compensation that the company announced seems that nobody knows anything about it, neither the paymaster or HR Director.Transfering via charter flights and ground transportation crew members from 11 ships from their fleet. Ground trasportation took for some up to 38 hours. Being on a ship with other over 2000 crew, creating long lines for food, while the Captain and his senior officers eating in a private area in an outlet on the ship with wait service wine and different food than other team members. The Hotel Director never showed his face around the ship and the HR director does't do any meetings with team members as per her. Security teams harassing team members and chasing them to go to their cabins in the context where nobody is sick or having simptomps of COVID 19.

We want to go home as soon as possible, no more lies no more posponed dates.
