This is a poorly thought through policy which shows a lack of trust in, and respect for the year 11 students. The headteacher should recognise that the priority is to give each student the chance to do the best they can. And focusing on school league tables is not the best way to motivate students!

Comrades, it seems a little futile to beseech to no-one in particular on an obscure petitions website. If we want to genuinely change this, we need a paper petition and a letter writing campaign. We must organise and co-ordinate, and make it clear we will not capitulate, and that we intend to see this through.

We need study leave and to wear non school uniform when we have our GCSE's to be comfortable whilst doing them.
