We, the prospective attendees/soldiers of Rampage, sign this petition to confirm that we will not hold Rampage, or the Belgian government, responsible for the health issues we may incur by attending the Rampage 2020 event, if it is permitted to still take place. This petition is not intended to bypass the advice or ruling of the Belgian authorities. It is to highlight the vast majority of those who wish to attend Rampage despite the concerns surrounding the Covid-19 virus, as the average demographic of those attending are between the ages of 16 and 30 years old and as you will know, the mortality rate in this age group who have contracted the virus, is extremely low (in those without pre-existing health conditions). Those signing this petition also understand that the decisions made with regards to Rampage taking place, also aim to protect the citizens of Antwerp/Belgium. But as movement throughout Belgium continues as usual, those signing this petition would like to point out that preventing Rampage from going ahead will make very little difference to the spread of this Virus. This petition is not only to fight for the opportunity that this years event goes ahead, but to also ensure that all future Rampage events that we so dearly love, will continue to take place.

I have been reading your messages about how much these events define our lives and the community we have built together. Behind the scenes I am reaching out to the organizers to ensure they know exactly how many of us are ready to get back to the music.

Seeing this level of enthusiasm reminds me why I started this for all of us who live for the bass. We are clearly not alone in our desire to keep this culture alive despite the current climate. I am incredibly moved by the passion shown here and we are now ready to take our case to the organizers.

RAMPAGE OR RIOT. We are coming to Antwerp regardless of what the government says!!!!
I already payed for my hotel and flights. If they cancel it now I lose everything. Just let us go dance!
The voice of few should not determine the fate of many!!! This event should go ahead! People have been waiting an entire year for this and are travelling from far and wide regardless of whether the event is on or not! It is unacceptable to cancel 3 days before!! The devistation this will cause will be barbaric! And the money and revenue lost!!!

Rampage is more than just a festival for me. The people, the music and the vibes are so unique like no other festival. This year would be my 5. Edition there. Fingers crossed that the government sees how important rampage is for the whole music Industrie and community.

Ridiculous to cancel this. People are still going to clubs and bars every weekend. Why is it different for a festival?
