Protect Our Scene Make L'Boulevard's Rock/Metal a safe space
For over two decades, L'Boulevard has served as a vital sanctuary for Morocco’s alternative music scene. It is a place where rock and metal fans come together to celebrate art, discover local talent, and build community. However, the safety and spirit of this event are being severely compromised.
Because entry is entirely free, the Rock/Metal day has increasingly become a magnet for opportunistic individuals who have no genuine interest in the music or the culture. Instead of a celebration of art, the festival grounds have become a hotspot for theft, aggressive loitering, and severe harassment—particularly directed at women. Genuine fans are being driven away from their own community space out of fear for their personal safety and belongings.
A festival cannot be truly accessible if it is not safe. The current open-door policy is failing to protect the very youth it was designed to support.
To restore L'Boulevard to the safe, inclusive, and music-focused environment it was always meant to be, we, the undersigned, urgently request that the organizers implement the following measures for the Rock/Metal day:
*Implement Paid Entry :
-Transitioning from free entry to a ticketed event, even with a highly accessible, symbolic price will act as a crucial filter. This simple step will deter individuals who only attend to loiter and cause trouble, ensuring the crowd is composed of genuine music fans who respect the space.
* Enforce a Stricter Door Policy / Dress Code:
-Empower security to exercise discretion at the gates by prioritizing attendees who are clearly part of the alternative culture and turning away groups exhibiting disruptive, predatory, or loitering behaviors

I'm signing this because not even women in hijab were safe from being sexually assaulted at this festival. None of us were safe. Do better. Paid event for the metal day or create a paid VIP section for those who care about the music.
L'boulevard fest stopped being a safe space for our community, it made them a target of all sorts of harassment, bullying, exoticism. The rock/metal day at l'boulevard needs a change, ASAP.
We need a safe space for our rock/metal community without troublesome individuals and hostile people (HERGAWA) , lboulevard needs to have a dress code for metal/rock day and people need to pay a small fee to enter the festival
Because of the amount of harassment I've been through as a girl, and the security are useless

I want to participate because I’m passionate about the metal community and I want to help create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone. As a metalhead myself, I believe we should look out for each other and make sure everyone can enjoy the music and the concert without feeling unsafe or uncomfortable.
Boulevard this year was awesome we enjoy the band that came and everything, we appreciate that we have something ontertaining such as this 9festival, but what isn really frustrating is the people that don't have any relationship with the kkind of music and came not to have fun but to make fun of peole that passionate with that type of music, for exemple as a metal head talking I enjoy koshpiting and head banging to the rythms of the great artist that come but due to what we call (Hargawa)

Because as a metalhead i suffered humiliation and unsafe because of the «Hrgawa » that aren’t interested in enjoying the music. All they want is to perturb others who like to enjoy their own musical tastes.
