I think the President changed this to D2R as a appeasement toward the employees when the both USAIR an AA merged. Well the transition period is done now is the time to recognize the retirees for their time and dedication for their yrs of service and return to the D2 status that we deserve.

I was forced out in 2012 and given unrealistic cities transfer to given the wages I was making. So, like anyone trying to survive and make best of the situation I had no choice but to take the buyout. After 23 years of faithful service during the strikes, the airfare wars, and most importantly, the Sept 11 attacks. I lost all privelages of non-rev standby. AA ows all of us who built American Airlines regardless of what era you worked there. The carrier has Dishonored so many and is currently in business at the cost of others sacrifices. Give us our flying benefits for all of us who made American Airlines!!

I love American Airlines, and I gladly forfeited part of my salary when the company needed it. Please restore our D2 status.

D2R IS A SLAP IN THE FACE TO THOSE OF US WHO DEDICATED OUR LIVES TO MAKING AMERICAN THE BEST AIRLINE IN THE WORLD. WE EARNED OUR D2, WE SHOULD GET TO KEEP IT. RETURN WHAT WAS PROMISED. PLEASE HONOR OUR SERVICE BY GIVING OUR D2 BACK.
