We, the parents and friends of Glendale Adventist Elementary, petition the GAE committee to hire Mrs Rayan Abdul-Karim as the teacher for the 2019-2020 Kindergarten class.
We are confident that there is no better instructor for this position. Her students especially want her to teach them next year. Just ask them. As our children transition from TK to Kindergarten, Mrs Abdul-Karim has established a continuity of learning that is essential for ensuring early academic success and development that is built upon by consistent educational experiences. And, she just knows each of our children best. They trust her.
Furthermore, there are parents who will not re-enroll there child to GAE if Mrs Abdul-Karim is not the Kindergarten teacher next year. We certainly hope this is not the case.
No one is better suited for the job than our beloved Ms Rayan! We all appreciate that she sincerely loves teaching our children and we truly love her too!
I will submit the petition to the principal by April 1, 2019.

PETITION TO BRING MRS. YOUNG BACK TO CHERRY CREEK ACADEMY

When my husband and I decided to move our three kids from Oakwood to GAA I was super nervous and unsure. Today we are enrolling our kids for next year without hesitation and lot of that is because of Mrs.Rayan. I love all of the teachers my kids have but Mrs. Rayan is exceptional. When I think of GAA the first image I have in my mind is Mrs.Rayan and her commitment to my daughter who has blossomed this year. It will devastate our family if we lose Mrs.Rayan.
She is the best teacher I have ever known. My son was reading before he turned 5! She is a huge blessing, not just to him, but to our entire family. She is skilled at what she does and has a heart that is as big as the sky. And as Abraham Lincoln said, ‘Teach the children so it will not be necessary to teach the adults’. That is exactly what she does!
Miss Raysn is such a super star teacher. We are from the UK and were privileged for our daughter to join her class earlier this year. I got to see from inside the classroom just how wonderful Miss Rayan is and just how much all the children love her.
I have seen my nephew blossom under Ms Rayan’s tutelage. It is clear that these children will continue to excel with her as they transition into Kindergarten.
Kaitlyn is in her TK class and loves Ms Raywn. Academically, Kaitlyn has progressed above my expectations. She is able to read and is excited to go to school.
Ms Rayan is an awesome teacher for our kids!!
