LEAVE THE BEACH OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Fed up with these homeowners acting like they own the whole lakefront.
Been going to this beach for 30 years and suddenly I am a tresspasser? Nonsense.
Ridiculous that we have to fight for this. The water is public property period.
Finally someone is doing something about this. I live just a few blocks away and get hassled every time I try to walk the shore.
The beach is for everyone. My kids grew up playing there and it just isnt right that some people think they own the sand.

I am a resident of Long Beach, and I should have access to the beach in my neighborhood! No person should be able to own such a beautiful natural wonder as the lake, it belongs to everyone! You cannot say that the homeowners own the lake, their property line ends much before the water line. I am always respectfull when I go to the beach, always clean up after myself and do not disturb others. There is no reason I should be barred from using the natural resources in my area, that would be like banning residents from a public park in the neighborhood, saying only the closest houses to the park can use the swings. We can all share and be kind to each other!
