Seeing this kind of movement confirms that people are finally tired of being locked out of their own shoreline. It feels exhausting to keep fighting these local battles but I see the momentum building behind this bill.

thank you! growing up here we always used to play on that beach but now its impossible. hope this fixes it for good.
Long beach residents have treated the shoreline like their own private backyard for way too long. Pass this bill now.
ITS PUBLIC LAND. STOP CLOSING IT OFF.
Keep the shoreline open. Cant believe we even have to fight for this.
The beach belongs to everyone not just the people living in the big houses right on the water. Sick of being told I cant walk on the sand.

Finally!! Been waiting years for someone to do something about this. Its public land for a reason.
