Reaching this level of visibility feels heavy because the fight against the bureaucracy is still exhausting. I am grateful that so many of you recognize how badly our community needs this school even when the opposition pushes back.

Please consider our school with it's new and vibrant ideas. It is different than other charter schools.
I love how HIAT is centered around Arts and Technology, because the students will be able to use their gifts and talents at a higher critical thinking level. They will also have the educational support they need to excel academically. I am a performing artist/writer/mother and I see the need for this type of Charter school, because there aren't enough platforms for talented youth in the Northwest Indiana area. To integrate arts and technology at an early age is a great idea!
Merrillville needs more options for the kids. My son is really into tech and this sounds perfect for him.
My daughter would love this school. Hopefully it gets approved soon cause we need a change from the normal stuff.
YES PLEASE!! We have been waiting for a school like this in the area for a long time. The arts focus is exactly what's missing.
