It makes me really uncomfortable that Siri is having to deal with this kind of problem in such a happy moment of her life.
If Siri was a man, this wouldn't be a problem, that pretty is obvious, right? Actually, none of my male colleagues who had child during their studies had to expose theirselves like this.

If you want true social impact, you must be inclusive of all people impacted by your policies. Pregnant women must not be discriminated against.

Siri is being proactive about making adjustments to continue her studies. The least Harris can do is agree to these very reasonable accommodations.

Siri deserves accommodations, and it should be a normalized practice and right that any student who is pregnant may have ways of completing their education without such barriers.

It is an embarrassment that a leading policy school that touts its progress on equity and inclusion fail to have an appropriate policy that supports pregnant students. Harris administration, enough with the empty rhetoric!

It’s very disappointing that one of the leading policy schools doesn’t have a policy in place to support pregnant graduate students. Siri and all other women at Harris deserve the same, quality access to higher education regardless of if we are pregnant or not. Harris should do more to support and help her continue her studies. Best of luck Siri, we are here to support you!

I hope Harris will show its commitment to meeting the needs of its students and will not continue to shut out Siri and future students who are pregnant from accessing their education in a way that meets their needs.

I was pregnant during my first Master's program in Nigeria and succeeded because, acknowledging my intense effort, the faculty demonstrated understanding and flexibility. This was in 2015 in the developing world. I expect the developed world in 2019 to operate by a higher standard.

The fact that there is no clear policy for situations like this is an error on the part of the institution.
Siri should not have to pay for this error.

Students at Harris are at various stages of their lives and continuing education is something that an inclusive workplace and graduate schools should embrace. Don’t make Siri choose between school and personal happiness. Set a precedent of hope for adult working women everywhere.
