I do not agree with the location for this development. Right next to an elementary school?! My 5 year old came home from school on Friday scared after having to practice an intruder drill. I am very disappointed to hear that the elected officials are in favor of this location. They do not have my support and never will if they support gun ranges next to schools!

I am opposed to having my children attend school with a Gun range this close. This range can be somewhere else!

Have some common sense, guns do not belong near schools. An elementary school should be surrounded by homes with good side walks, working street lights, and friendly neighbors.

I have a child currently attending school at Dolsen. I have a kindergartener starting next fall. I stand APPOSED to building this Indoor Gun Range and potental outdoor archery range within such a close vicinity to the property line (playground) of a K-5 Elementary school. This facility if needed should not be located next to an Elementary or residual setting. Our children SHOULD NOT be exposed to such a place during educational time. We currently have portable units on the property that are IN the playground area. They will be 350 feet (give or take) from the property line of this business. Lyon TWP PLEASE find a more suitable location to build this business. Please do NOT approve this location. Move it out of residential and potential residential areas.

I don't want something like this so close to a school in our community. In this day and age we can't afford to take this risk and become another city with a gun tragedy.

I stand opposed to building the shooting range very close to the elementary school vicinity. I don't feel safe to send my child to school. Please have it moved to different location.
