I have been reviewing the comments left on this petition and the impact of the library on our daily lives remains clear. These testimonies highlight why maintaining current opening hours is essential for our community. I am currently preparing a formal submission to the Council to ensure these perspectives are presented during the budget review process.

Please keep the library open. As pensioners we would be unable to travel to the proposed Llandaff North hub.
I have regularly used Rhiwbina Library for over 63 years and usually go there once a fortnight. Over the years I have also introduced my son to the benefits of using a library and have, myself, attended various classes held in their meeting room. If one is not a driver, how on earth are people from Rhiwbina supposed to get to a new "hub" library in Llandaff North? It would take two bus journeys to get there and two journeys back to Rhiwbina taking, probably, at least a couple of hours. All this at a time when the bus frequency has been reduced, not to mention whether they run on time or turn up at all! It has been proved that Rhiwbina Library has the greatest footfall of all libraries except Central so where is the Council's sense in this?! PLEASE KEEP RHIWBINA LIBRARY OPEN.
Its an essential part of Rhiwbina and has provided excellent service for many,many years
This library is vital to keep reading alive & is also such a centre for the community! The staff are always so helpful.
We use the library every week and would be very sorry to see reduced hours. It is a wonderful addition to the community and vital to Rhiwbina.

This is the busiest library in Cardiff. Please keep it open for me and my girls, they love visiting the library and reading all their books x
