These trees have been here far too long to be chopped down!!! There are so many reasons that the new plans should not go ahead!!! Leave our trees alone!!!

Little consultation. Little benefit. Financially costly. Unpopular. Have to question this decision.

A pointless waste of money when the council are currently consulting on their future budget plans including cut/changes to essential services. Surely this money could be used better elsewhere?!

Please listen to residents and ultimately your voters. Don't ruin yet another suburb and homes in the false name of improvement and development.

cities need trees. Caerphilly road and residents need trees. Cycle tracks are more environmentally friendly than an extra little bit of bus lane. We all benefit from green...

Please don't destroy these beautiful trees. We all need to be more responsible for our natural surroundings, especially now, more than ever!

This will add further congestion to drivers from Caerphilly into CARDIFF.
I oppose this plan.

These trees must not be felled! They were here long before we were...and should keep future generations company long after we're gone.

Cardiff city council bus company, Don't destroy these trees, it was not a good idea last time and not a lot has changed. A short bus lane is pointless, we need trees, and when these trees blossom they make Cardiff a better place. If more road capacity is needed then don't just make it for busses make it for everybody or perhaps a decent cycle lane. If its is actually needed then maybe full length 3 or 4 lanes and bulldoze one side? You choose East or West? Try and push that through!

I do not think that there is any justification to do this.

Every day the congestion around the area gets worse and these plan will only further exacerbate the situation. It will not benefit anyone in the community in any way. Time for a re-think and a proper consultation with local residents I feel.

This is not a well thought out plan. Buses run freely as it is and where will people park when on-street parking is removed. The local shops will also suffer as there is already a woeful lack of suitable parking. The area will just become more congested

Save the trees for the city, residents and visitors. The loss to the community is not worth the few minutes saved on the bus journey.

This is a ridiculous idea that will have no benefit to the traffic as all traffic will still have to filter back into one lane further on.
Yet another way of the council trying to make money off drivers when ambulances have to get through the traffic drivers will have no option but to move into the bus lane where they will incur a fine.
