Complete waste of time and money by Council! Keep the trees and don't build Bus lane that will never be used. Just look at bus lanes by Whitchurch Golf club...never used!

This short sighted council needs to address the wider issue of traffic congestion and pollution with long view solutions. The safety and speed limit on the interchange is a far more pressing issue than altering this section of road. Thank you to the dedicated residents who are standing up to these idiotic councillors.

I strongly oppose to the plans suggesting to remove the Caerphilly road side walk with its trees to enforce a bus lane which I as resident of that area I don't see it necessary at all.. Save the trees!!!!

Bus Lane, reckless planning. Uncautious for the safety of pedestrians, particularly children going to & from school. Have the council studied the volume & huge size of HGV that use Carrphilly Rd! Only a matter of time before terrible accident if this goes ahead. The trees are beautiful, the council might first review their initial decision/policy to plant the trees before cuttiing them down!!!

There is no need for a bus lane on Caerphilly Road, it will only take "minutes" off a journey into town and it's shameful to cut those trees down, I don't believe for one minute they're diseased!
