What a waste of money when there are so many budget cuts and for no apparent gain to anyone.

Complete waste of money will benefit nobody buses do not use the bus lanes already in place as there is no advantage just how many bus services use this stretch of road

Having sent in a written objection to the proposal in June 2015, which made no difference to the council's view, I hope that the latest protests will finally make the council stand up & listen to the strength of feeling of the local residents.

I am signing the petition as there is no point in this bus lane. For the stretch of road that is going to be dug up & turned into the lane it isn't going to make much of a difference traffic wise. Also it is going to disrupt the community and ruin it and I'm talking as someone who uses the bus. Please don't cut down our trees, disrupt the community, all for a bus lane.

It is criminal to destroy beautiful trees to try and save a few moments. Use those extra moments to look at the amazing natural beauty of the tree.

As a local Birchgrove resident, I am convinced that the introduction of short bus lanes along this stretch of Caerphilly Road will solve nothing & may lead to more traffic chaos & frustration. It is politically motivated..

Absolute destruction of such beautiful trees and nature should be made a crime. The local authority should be ashamed and for a bus lane. Surely the money could be better spent in other areas of Cardiff that are in real need of the money

Totally pointless bus lane. Standard council disregard for its residents views.

What a complete waste of council Tax payers money in a time of CUTS Cuts and more cuts of Esential Services to do something that is not only totally uneccesary but creating even more havoc for road users than you alredy have.

Spoil the character of the street I lived on in the 60's for another pointless bus lane.

There is no need to rip up these trees. Won't make travelling on this road any easier by having a bus lane. This road was never designed to deal with this much traffic. The money from thus could be used to improve traffic else where!

Removing the tree will spoil the appearance of this wide, open and busy MAIN road.

Is there really any need for another bus lane at the expense of cutting trees that have been around longer than we have!

This proposal is a waste of tax payers money, an abomination to nature and will cause even more traffic.

It is the greenery that makes Cardiff beautiful. In this time of uncertainty of our Eco system let us not aid global warming further by chopping down more trees.

This is not a scheme that offers value for money, it will be ineffective and is environmentally destructive

I strongly oppose the removal of trees for an unnecessary bus lane. The voters in Cardiff North do not want public money spent on this. The trees are necessary for oxygen water drainage and to improve the general environment.

The council will lose credibility by doing this, ludicrous idea
