We should be planting trees!
Not cutting them down!
What happened to protecting our enviroment???
No room either for an un-needed bus lane!
Have a word with yourself!!!!

As a resident of Llanishen who uses Caerphilly road daily in order to get to work and to town I believe a bus lane would cause a severe disruption to traffic that is already a problem. Without significant redesign of the road, to include widening, it would not be possible or practical.

These trees are beautiful in flower, this is a stupid waste of money from a council supposed to be saving money!

Bus bays or pull in's would make more sense than a full bus lane.

Another pointless project and waste of money by Cardiff Council. I struggle to see the overall benefits of a bus lane down this short stretch of road, which would have to be intermittent due to existing buildings being closer to the road than others. This in turn would mean traffic slowing down to allow the bus back into the main road! Needless to say the uprooting of trees which make the area what it is is unessesary.
Our money could be better spent on schools, parks etc.

Waste of time the lane will not save time as its not long enough. If anything will make the journey longer as with the traffic not many people will let the bus out

Is there no consideration for the residents who would have extra traffic noise in their homes if the pavements are narrowed and the removal of the lovely trees would spoil the look of the area.

Idiotic. The trees feed on the excess water in the ground and prevent flooding. Will the council blame global warming when the road floods?

The trees add character to the community and the bus lanes would add no value. This has been demonstrated in Llandaff already on Llantrisant Rd - in fact it just causes added danger.

Save the trees! Developers should have considered the flow of traffic before building- not destroying the trees which will affect all the houses on Caerphilly road!

Ludicrous waste of money for so little benefit when there are schools in desperate need of repair. Shame on you Cardiff Council.

Bomkets idea. Complete lack of thought. Waste of public (central or Local) money.
The year is but 10 days old. What lunacy shall we see in the next 355 days?

This will ruin the look of the area and is a waste of money and the residents are not happy.

It will make it difficult for delivery companies as they won't be able to stop on the bus lane, if they did they will get fined.
