Crazy idea, will wreck the character of the road forever, and solves nothing. Poor trees, no doubt in a few years time a camera will appear to make the council money who are so out of touch with the community they are supposed to represent!

The widening of the road to add a bus lane will not reduce journey times by a massive amount as the road is not that long. Don't ruin another lovely tree lines green verged street. If people are late for work on public transport then leave a little earlier, or get the train!

The removal of parking for shoppers will be the final nail in the coffin on Birchgrove as a shopping area. We were initially told that the rejuvenation of this area was one of the key targets for this scheme

I cannot see a need for a bus lane and an intermittent one at that as the Cardiff bus drivers don't use the bus lanes as standard anyway!
Complete waste of time, taxpayers money and a massive inconvenience to everyone concerned!!

What a waste of money!! Messed up North Road for the sake of a short distance for the odd bus - now trying to do the same in Caerphilly Rd. Will the council never learn?

Those trees have been there since I was a kid.would be devastating for them to be destroyed so buses can be a few minutes faster! Heartbreaking and pointless!!!

I believe it would be a huge mistake if this bus lane was implanted. The trees are part of the community and removing them for an intermittent bus lane it a disaster.
Leave the trees alone!
Remember this at the next elections.
