Bus lane will cause great inconvenience to residents, pedestrians etc and all for a few yards. What is needed is bin collections on weekends and not weekdays is this sort of residential area/

Really won't solve the problems on Caerphilly Road at all. The council needs to be getting people out of their cars BEFORE they even get this far. Not a good use of money. Plus horrible for the residents.

Another case of the council being arrogant and ignorant of local people's needs.

Why does the council not listen? This really matters to the local people. Far more than the bus lanes.

Total waste of time and public money for a few hundred metres of road, the other similar schemes in the city have proved pointless too? Don't forget too that trees purify the air and are an important habitat for local birds and insects in our environment!!!!

Would be a shame to cut down beautiful trees that's been standing there for hundreds of years just for a bus lane!

I am a resident on Caerphilly road, I can't believe this decision to hack away beautiful trees to open a pointless bus lane that the buses will not use. There are no issues with the bus time tables at the moment in any case. Also on top of that, where the hell are we going to park??? This is an idiotic decision and the money can be spent in thousands of different ways , number 1 would be to improve the hundreds of pot holes around the city. The other major negative impact this will have will be the busses will be virtually in out front living rooms! Sort yourselves of CCC and use your brain before you make plans like this!

I live at 170 Caerphilly rd and have 2 small children. I already find it a massive struggle to park safely and get 2 children and shopping to my house. This is going to make it 10 times worse when there is absolutely no need. The traffic queues from 8-9.30am and is then free flowing this is what you expect in a main route into a city centre a bus lane narrowing pavements where lots of people walk to work is not the answer!!! Well done Cardiff city council once again!!

When governments have just signed up to reduce emissions to protect our planet why would you choose to cut these essential part of our planet down.

What a waste of money putting a bus lane in that would serve only a few hundred of metres of road. There are plenty of other examples in Cardiff where these silly lanes have been installed

We live just off Caerphilly Road, if you construct permit only parking we will never get to park any where near our homes, we have enough problems with the gcse college and hospital staff parking in and around our street. Cant see myself what good it will do.

Come on CCC. Have a rethink. YOu're going to make a pleasant road, very unpleasant, for minimal benefits. Who thought this up?
