This is outrageous and has not been thought through properly!

Think this is a terrible decision. What a waste or money and time for something that will not make a blind bit of difference. Such a big sacrifice of our beautiful nature for so little benefits. We are loosing so much of the city's natural beauty and that is a big shame. Please don't take these beautiful trees away.

What an outrageous waste of our money and a loss of the beautiful trees and character of this part of Caerphilly Road. A tick box exercise by the council with no compassion for the people and environment they serve. What a shame!

How about listening to the people and where they want the money spent rather than idiotic and useless projects such as this and Victoria Park. NOBODY WANTS IT!!!! Listen for heavens sake, just listen to the people that give you the money.

We need trees more than we need a bus lane. Even the taxi drivers think it is pointless and a total waste of money.

Taking the trees down is not worth it for the number of busses going down Caerphilly road. Taking trees away to replace with more fumes.

There is no justification for this bus lane. Its ludicrous and makes no sense. Leave our road alone !!!!!!!

We do not need a bus lane along this road based on the length of the bus lane there will be no benefit - Its a big N0000000

Complete waste of money!! Just like the plan to put a bus lane on Manor Way!
We need this money spent on improving the local area and schools

I don't want a bus lane and don't want trees to be cut down as well they have been there since long time.

I think that this plan will make living on Caerphilly Road for all residents much worse than it already is.

Removing eleven mature trees in one fell swoop will be hugely detrimental to the character of the area, not to mention the bird and insect life. The positive impact of green spaces on well being and social behaviour has been widely documented, and is not to be underestimated. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-25682368)
Local feeling has clearly been against these plans from the beginning, which would have little benefit for bus users (speaking as one myself), and seems a particularly counterintuitive and detrimental change to the urban environment at a time when national flooding due to rainwater run off has reached crisis levels.
I am firmly opposed to this damaging scheme.

The trees benefit Caerphilly road way more than the council realise and should never be removed unless lives depend on it.

More trees needlessly removed - just like North Road

Leave the trees be, there is no benefit to chopping down the trees.
