the length of bus lane is not commensurate with a cogent traffic management policy. The road capacity created does not mitigate the loss of public amenity and loss to the urban forest.

I live in Australia but have lived in Wales and feel it is a shame to destroy these old trees which can never be replaced.

Don't understand the benefit that the bus lane will bring, going to create traffic mayhem.

Although yes we need to improve bus lanes but here unfortunately the water drainage issue is bad. The trees help this issue a lot. Cycle lanes can be place on off streets, more bus's should help releave the traffic issue due to the commuters not using cars.

What a waste of our trees and, carbon foot print, let alone money for a few hundred yards of bus lane saving minutes for just a few passengers. This will not encourage people to travel by bus. We would rather see trees please.

Absolutely pointless, no need for this whatsoever. A total waste of money.

This will undoubtably harm the visual amenity of the area , require a lot of work and expense for little or no gain. Please rethink .

I see no benefit from taking down trees and narrowing footpaths in order for busses to get somewhere probably 2 minutes faster? Local residents need to take priority here!

This is a terrible idea which has attracted massive opposition from local residents (of which I am one). The negative impacts of removing trees and parking space and moving roads closer to families' homes far outweigh the minimal benefits of a very short bus lane. I very much hope CCC urgently reconsider this proposal.

The residents should come first.
