Removal of the trees to put in a short bus lane is short sited. Trees are the lungs of the world and away of makeing a community feel nice.

Once again CCC are about to waste public money on a scheme that will make that same publics life more difficult, it's about time they started listening to the very people that pay their wages...

Pointless exercise....it isn't going to make a huge difference to a bus journey and will probably cause more accidents along the way.

I am astounded but no longer shocked at the ineptitude again of Cardiff City Council. What an utter waste of time, effort and money. There are no returns on this investment other than a vanity project for some stupid councillor. It will remain unused apart from what I calculate to be 3 busses in the morning and afternoon. Not to mention the removal of mature trees. It's another shambles just like the unused bus lane on the Northern Avenue by Cardiff Golf Club.

Complete waste of money which would be better spent on a pilot experiment offering free buses for all during peak times. Then we would know if people would really give up their cars to travel to work. A short stretch of bus lane is not going to do this I would rather walk.

I believe the bus lanes will only move congestion to Gabalfa, and will cause problems for both pedestrains and cyclists. It was a stupid idea 10 years ago and it remains just as stupid!

This Road is a personal favourite of mine as I can imagine as I'm going down it what it might have looked like in the past. It is green and health stretch of road that Cardiff should be proud off and exhibit to less green cities. It is outrageous that these trees which are such a beautiful sight to drive/walk past are to be cut down! It is not acceptable.
