why not just reduce the cost of travelling by bus? This would encourage more people to use the bus and therefore reduce traffic in general. It's cheaper for me to park in the centre of Cardiff than travel by bus

What consultation? This is a residential area and soon it will become a three lane motorway with cars and hgvs squeezed into smaller lanes while the bus lane is empty.

There is room to put a segregated cycle lane on this road of considerable width to make the road safer for them surely the money would be better spent on this compared to a bus lane that won't get used very often.

This is an unworkable change to the road which will cost ratepayers a huge amount for very little questionable benefit.

This bus lane will be like the ones on Manor Way and North Road very rarely used and a waste of money, the trees give oxygen for many people, when North Road was revamped they were promised trees and did not get any. They are only introducing the bus lane to obtain a grant to do some essential work, they are not interested in a bus lane. With out the grant it will cost the council, with the grant it will cost Welsh Goverment, it's all the same its till our tax money being wasted. Leave the trees alone, revamp the grass soak aways and forget the stupid bus lane.

Leave the tree's as it seems a bus lane is not really required if anything it sounds like it would disrupt the lives of many.

Peoples lives are more important than bus lanes, children need to get to school safely and residents need access to their homes. It is only 2 hours a day that there is a problem with slow buses. People live here 24 hours a day.

Another waste of City resources. The residents will lose their parking.Traffic will bottle neck further down down the road.Spend the money on repairing existing highways and on cleaning up the growing litter problem.

The benefit to bus passengers, if any, is going to be negligible, and the negative effect on motorists (loss of road space, further congestion, longer tailbacks) and of the dreadful loss of the cherry trees and grass verges will far outweigh any benefits. I suspect the buses will not even use the short stretches of bus lane, but will stay in the main flow of traffic like they already do on North Road. The money would be better spent repairing the verges and facilitating existing parking BETWEEN the trees, plus repairing potholes throughout the city. I drive on the Caerphilly Road every day, and also regularly use the 27 bus, and I am 100% against the introduction of a bus lane.
