The administration finally capitulated and the teach out plans are officially moving forward for everyone left stranded by these corporate vultures. We forced them to acknowledge their debt to these students after they tried to abandon us without a second thought. Keep your eyes open because these administrators will try …

We need your help! On Tuesday 09/06/2016, 40,000 students attending ITT-TECH received an email informing them of the immediate closure of the institute. There were no proper teach out plans offered to the students. Resulting in surrounding colleges refusing to accept their credits. With no proper teach out plan, students weeks from completing their 2yr degree were only left with the option of starting the program completely over. Please sign the petition to help thousands of students complete their educational goals. Thank you for your support!

100 of us are now demanding justice for these students who ITT Tech just threw to the wolves. This is just the beginning of the fight to force these vultures to acknowledge the mess they created.

My daughter is one of the students who are affected by this, she had only one semester left to get her RN Degree, with the hopes of going on to become a Nurse Practitioner. I truly hope that some school or our government steps up to help those so close to graduation.

I have been a part of an institution that closed several campuses. As a result, we developed teach out plans to ensure that all students in progress had an opportunity to complete their certificates and degree plans. This should have been offered in this situation as well.

As an adjunct instructor at ITT, I know firsthand the dedication these students put in to earning their degrees. It is only fair they be allowed to finish what the started and earn their degree. They have sacrificed family, friends, and employment to be successful.

I get the school was closed do to impropriety issues. I do not get how the authorities left all the students hanging. Arrangements should have been made by them prior to closing the doors. It's always the regular everyday citizens that get screwed.

Department of Education has asked other schools to accept ITT credits. We were 10 weeks away from Associates in nursing. I can't find a school near me taking nursing credits. Is the department of education willing to pay for my relocation or room and board?

Students are not responsible for school closings. They should not have to spend time or money redoing their college courses. This incident is beyond their control. They should be given the opportunity to complete their graduate requirements without having to start over.

I'm a former ITT nursing student with only 12 months left to graduate and become a nurse. A teach out would be a lifesaver!
