You are taking away such a valuable source of Gods priest from the maronite community. In this day and age our society is becoming even more godless by the minute. We need support and fr edmond is a big one. He has worked tirelessly to help the maronite community grow. You see our priests are our communication from heaven. He has a gift of being able to bring a young or old person back to God. Closer to God. He understands and is very compassionate towards all in the maronite parish. We are living in one of the worst times in the history of creation. Very few believe in Our Lord Jesus let alone love Him. Please for the sake of strengthening our peoples faith in Our Lord we need fr edmond. God bless
Fr Ed, you have always been a buddy and a mate. You have been our great friend and always been there for Juanita, Nellie, Toni & I. It is heartbreaking knowing you are leaving us and we are so upset. You married us, baptised both our girls, were there to support & comfort us when my mother in law Nellie and my dad passed away. We will forever have you in our thoughts and hearts and we cannot thank you enough for all you have done for us and our Christian faith. God bless my friend. Kosta
17 years is a long time but he is part of the family here. Cant imagine the parish without him honestly. Keep him in Melbourne.
Fr Edmond is the only reason my kids still go to church. He really gets them and makes things understandable. Please let him stay.
We need him in our parish today more than ever. Father Edmond is crucial to the future of our parish and Maronite community. He is the reason many of us are drawn to the church, to Jesus, to our faith. Please don't take away the heart of our Melbourne Maronite Catholic community. There is so much left for him to do here.
My words are limitless about Fr. Edmond and have nothing to with religion; since I am not a religious person at all. I started to live at St Charbel monastery 3 years ago when I had many problems making my life a true hell. I am indebted to Fr. Edmond forever for all the tranquility, relief, peace, and his wise advice that have changed my life to a better one. He is down-to-earth, kind, thoughtful, logical and above all faithful to goodness. He helps people to live more wisely. He has been a true caring friend, guide, listener, and wise advisor. His absence here in Melbourne will be a tremendous loss for all of us, so I deeply hope he stays here in Melbourne. It is not chess allowing us to move valuable pieces like Fr. Edmond to wherever we desire, and even if it is, I am confident that we still need our Rook to stay on our side.

We still need him here he has helped a lot of people and were still in need for our young people in our community
