We, the homeowners of Grant Road PUD in Cypress Texas, are concerned about the continuous and shocking increase in our water bills without any actual increase in the amount of water consumption. For many of us, the water bill has surpassed all other utility bills. We request that the said authority review the customer complaints, provide valid explanation for the following concerns and remedy the situation immediately without further burdening us with any additional expenses.

1. Higher Consumption – Month by month comparison between years, we have been billed for substantially higher consumption of water without any increase in our actual consumption.
2. If the meters are recording erroneous consumption, we ask the Grant Road PUD to test the meters and produce certificates of accuracy from NIST’s Weights and Measures Division. If they are defective, we ask the Grant Road PUD to replace them at its own expense.
